To create an account with Mercari &
Yahoo Auction Japan, they use
SMS verification.
Mercari and Yahoo Auction clearly states
that new account holder requires
cell phone that is capable of
receiving SMS.
Yahoo Auction Japan used to have
an option to create an account
without using phone.
But now Yahoo decided to
end the option.
There is a service that you can try.
That is to receive SMS online
without phone.
I tested it to see if it works.
And I tested with
several different websites.
But, did not work. I have never received
SMS from these websites.
So I can not create an account
for my customers, but
I can buy goods for them since
I have the account.
